Pastor Logan Koontz
Our Church is One Big Loving Family
Pastor Logan has served as FBC China’s Pastor since August of 2023.
A Texas native, Pastor Logan graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. He received his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2015 and his Master of Theology in 2018. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Southwestern and is in the process of completing his dissertation.
Pastor Logan has had the opportunity to serve at several great churches over the years. Logan has had the opportunity to serve as a youth ministry intern at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, TX, a college and young professionals minister at Hunter’s Glen Baptist Church in Plano, TX, and interim pastor at Pleasant Run Baptist Church in Colleyville, TX. He has also had the opportunity to travel and preach at numerous churches within the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention (SBTC).
Logan and his wife, Rita, have two children, their son Callum and their daughter Cora.
